Prerequisites:

As a minimum, applicants must master the content and skills taught in the following basic courses: EPID 701 , EPID 741 , BIOS 701 , BIOS 710  and BIOS 757 . To determine whether these courses need to be taken, all Epidemiology doctoral students are required to take a placement test. Results from this placement test will determing the proper course required in the first year of the Ph.D. program; these course requirements are in addition to the required hours for the Ph.D. degree. The departmental faculty also may require other extra courses on a case-by-case-basis.
